Introduction
Bluetooth technology allows all enabled devices to detect and communicate
with other enabled devices within range, without conscious user intervention,
making it the perfect wireless solution for telematics applications.
Bluetopia™ is a Bluetooth protocol stack designed and developed by Stonestreet
One, a leading provider of Bluetooth technology solutions, and can be
a key component in a telematics system. Bluetopia provides the user with
wireless, hands-free operation of enabled devices within the telematics
system. It has a flexible memory footprint, is completely scaleable for
both ROM and RAM requirements, and is available for virtually every operating
system and platform. Bluetopia natively supports and frequently undergoes
regression testing on Linux, QNX, and Windows CE operating systems, which
are all used by Renesas (formerly Hitachi) for their various telematics
platforms.
Stonestreet One designs, develops, and integrates short-range wireless
solutions and has been developing custom Bluetooth solutions for a diverse
group of customers since 1999. Stonestreet One's designs and software
are enabling and enhancing wireless devices in industries such as mobile
communications, biomedical, material handling, consumer products, aerospace
and automotive. Stonestreet One is a Bluetooth design partner for a number
of leading semiconductor, electronic component manufacturers, and distributors.
